Description
Freixenet Ice Rosé undergoes the same production process as its winery colleagues, but with a slight variation: it is a rosé wine made from Chardonnay, Garnacha and Pinot Noir grapes.
Freixenet Ice Rosé was born a year ago, a special product that, unlike its relatives, is drunk in a balloon glass with a lot of ice.
Two processes are necessary to give rise to the final product: pressing, clarification to eliminate the musts and fermentation. This is followed by a second fermentation where sugar and yeast are added to give it this sparkling character that has become so successful all over the world.
Freixenet Ice Rosé is a cava of intense pink color that gives off aromas of forest fruits, raspberries, sloes and strawberries. On the palate it is fresh and sweet, highlighting its fruity character and accompanying it with an aniseed and spicy flavor.
As for the best way to taste Ice Rosé, as we have already said, it is designed to invite you to a glass of balloon, where four or five pieces of ice await your contest until it reaches the cool temperature you need. Puff pastry, ice cream or creamy cheeses are the best possible pairing to accompany it.
