January and February may be two of the coldest months, but with modest temperatures and plenty of sunny days, you'll still feel the warmth on your face. Evenings can be a little chilly, so be sure to bring a coat, but there are plenty of outdoor cafes to sit and people-watch, or take a leisurely stroll along the beachfront. This is also an ideal time of year to explore the Costa del Sol, take a hike, or visit the charming white villages nearby. Highs will reach around 20 degrees Celsius, so you'll still need your sunglasses!

In March and April, spring makes an appearance and the weather can be a bit hit and miss. It's not quite warm enough to swim outdoors yet, but you'll still be able to enjoy plenty of sunny days outside.
